I've heard a lot of other people talk about it, so  thought I might throw my opinion into the many already out there. I'm a little confused about why are people so upset about the 20% cut that deviantART takes from the use of the app. Usually in dA points, $1 is 80 points. In the case of the widget it changes to 100 points for a dollar. That means when someone pays for a $20 commission, they pay 2000 points to the widget, $25 dollars actual money. Then deviantART takes the $5 from that and gives the artist the $20 price they set on the commission. The thing that boggles my mind is that the artists are complaining that devi takes 20% from the
